Without proper cleaning you will get a build-up of natural oils, make-up and bacteria, which can cause infection. This will affect your make-up application, and the life of your make-up brush.
We recommend gently washing them on a regular basis in luke warm water with a small amount of soap or mild shampoo.
To retain the shape of the brush hair, run under luke warm water until the water runs clean and soap free, gently squeeze to remove all traces of water and place on a clean dry towel and allow to air-dry flat. Don't be tempted to use a hair dryer.
Alternatively you can use a professional brush cleaner available at most beauty supply stores. These are designed for quick and effective cleaning without damaging the brushes.
